I’m Marcie and I’m a creative spirit who loves God, my husband Shane and my 3 boys, Zachary, Christopher, Noah, and our very spoiled dog, Yeti.
When I’m not with them my happy place is in the garden and in the kitchen. It is the heart of my home, and it’s where new recipes are created and old ones are revamped. I also have hobbies that include planning parties, taking snapshots of my food creations and spending time with my huge extended family. As far back as I can remember, my love for baking led me into making cakes of all kinds for my family and friends.
It’s of great importance to me that whenever I have a cake to make, I keep the person I’m making it for in mind. The long hours I put into my cakes express my true love and passion for what I do. I share in their excitement of their celebration and go the extra mile to find what they want for their cake. I always love the end result, which is seeing joy on their face when it’s presented to them. I want that person to feel special and appreciated from the moment of consultation to the moment they receive their cake.
I am a self taught baker, and cake artist. My professionalism lies in the many years I’ve had of baking experiences and obtaining classes and tutorials to keep myself up to date. I rely on my own natural God-given talent to create unique and special cakes for my clients. I believe that the definition of success is happiness, and to achieve that happiness is to find my quiet place because that’s where all my motivation happens.
