I say retreat because I live with all boys, including our dog, Yetti. It’s a hectic life, a beautiful life, a purposeful life and sometimes, a tiresome one, so I need somewhere to retreat from all the shenanigans and just do me.
In this corner you’ll find encouragement, inspiration, baking tips and recipes. I also can’t wait to share my daily adventures of cooking, gardening and family life.
My name is Marcie, I’m a baker, a devoted mom to 3 boys, and wife who has Jesus as her co-pilot in doing life everyday. I read something once that stuck with me and it went like this, You’ve seen God do too much to give up, and you know too much about Him to walk away. I love this because it resonates in my daily life. I want to learn to live my life unapologetically and enjoy my journey. There are good days and not so good days. That’s when I turn to what makes me happy and gives me peace.
So if you’re looking for good family recipes, all things baking, or even interesting places to visit, (I would suggest exploring my beautiful country of Belize. It’s full of culture and known for its British influence) you’re in the right place.
